Isabelle's Papers
This site is dedicated to my mother, Isabelle. It sprang forth from a short autobiography she wrote for her granddaughter, Cristi.
Subsequently, I spent two-year's worth of weekends with Isabelle, sitting on her magic porch, talking about her life, and taking notes.
Using that information, the short autobiography grew into a self-published book, and then into this web site which, due to relatives' contributions, continues to grow.
Here's to her memory.
