The next stone is flat and marks the resting place of Johann's son, Charles Frederick Meyer, and his wife, Elizabeth Boehm Meyer, whose funeral brought together so many of the family in a preceding photograph.

I don't know why this stone is flat and smaller, and weathered so much more than the other family stones pictured here, especially since it's newer. I imagine Charles' fortunes weren't in keeping with the other family members he now lies with.

At any rate, Charles died June 1, 1925, at 9730 108th Street, Richmond Hill, Queens, NY. And, as you already know, Elizabeth died February 15, 1935 at 103-42 96th Street, Queens, NY.

Together, Charles and Elizabeth had three children, although two, Frederick and Irene, both died while very young. Harry Vose Meyer was the surviving son.
