This somewhat eery-looking group are descendants of Johann's, and posed for this photograph in 1914.

Charles Frederick Meyer, Johann's youngest son, is the man standing at the left of the picture.

Lena (Schmidt) Russlend, is the woman standing in the middle. She married Johann's daughter Catherine Anne Meyer Russlend's son, Albert Meyer Russlend. Their son, Albert Jr., married Myrtle Caroline Garholt, and their daughter is Jane Russlend Force, a relative who informed me of much of the Meyer family history, and emailed several of the pictures here. (She is also the one who "rediscovered" the family plot.)

Harry Vose Meyer, born September 12, 1891, is the other man standing and the son of Charles (the man on left).

Elizabeth Boehm Meyer, born May 27, 1858, is the woman seated on the left, and Charles' wife (the man behind her).

Lillian C. (Hendrickson) Meyer is the other seated woman, Harry's wife (the man behind her). She and Harry had a son, George Hammelef Meyer, born October 10, 1915, about a year after this photo was taken.

In turn, George Hammelef married a Henrietta Louisa Anna Meyer (her maiden name, though no relation), and together they had two daughters, Madeline and Ethel. It was Madeline Meyer who shared with me the rest of the Meyer family history written here, plus these old Meyer family photos.
