Earlier in 2006, Declan tripped over grandmabelle.com with its references to Termonfeckin and initiated a correspondence with me that culminated with this article. Subsequent to its publication, some people in Termonfeckin contacted me with information further expanding Isabelle's book, of which Declain was invaluable by supplying dates and names.

Therefore, I'd like to thank Declan for not only publishing a section of Isabelle's story—along with the photographs, and for allowing me to publish it on GrandmaBelle.com, but also for the continuing aid in all things Termonfeckin.

"Thanks, Declan!"
